Heathrow meet & greet — what actually happens

“Meet and greet” is one of the most searched Heathrow transfer phrases — and one of the most misunderstood. Here is how we run it as a working chauffeur operator, not a generic travel tip list.

Where your chauffeur waits

After you clear immigration and reclaim bags, your chauffeur waits in the public arrivals hall with a name board. We do not wait airside. Confirm your terminal (T2–T5) at booking so the right hall is covered — Terminal 5 especially needs the correct pier/arrivals flow.

Flight tracking vs fixed pickup time

Share your flight number. We track the live landing time rather than treating the schedule as gospel. If you land early, we aim to be ready; if you land late, complimentary waiting starts from the updated landing within our airport policy — not from the original schedule.

What if baggage is slow?

Ordinary reclaim delays are expected on long-haul. Message or call once you are through if something unusual happens (misconnect, assistance, wheelchair). Extreme delays are handled on the booking so you are not left guessing at the kerb.

Departures are different

Outbound Heathrow trips are door-to-door collections timed to your check-in buffer and traffic. There is no arrivals-hall meet — we collect from your hotel or home and drop at the correct terminal entrance.

FAQs

Is Heathrow meet and greet the same as Fast Track?

No. Meet & greet is your chauffeur collecting you landside after bags. Fast Track is an airport security/immigration product — unrelated to the transfer.

Do I pay extra if my flight is delayed?

Complimentary waiting applies from the updated landing within policy when we have your flight number. Your booked transfer fare stays fixed for the agreed vehicle and addresses.
